3 Years & 8 months
Sunday, April 16th, 2006Today is a remarkable day for my grademates, especially my batch-mates, as we have been in the audit profession for three years and eight months. I guess if we calculate the working days as suggested by HKICPA, i.e. 7 hours per day, we’ve worked for over 5 years here.
Although I didn’t send out a formal "goodbye and thank you" email on my last day, I do want to conclude that my past 3 years and 8 months are a very important learning and growing period to me. The exposures in audit have made my life more rich and challenging. To be honest, the other side of the coin is: I’ve spent my most golden period of my life in audit (I guess it should be the golden time to most of gals) and have scarified many many valuable things (e.g. family, love, friends, health, hobbies,) over the past three years. I guess no one can be fair enough to measure whether it’s worthy to do so or not. Well, let’s not to do the comparison, just keep the happy memories, remember what we’ve learnt and open a new page of life.
