Thoughts & Life

Today is a remarkable day for my grademates, especially my batch-mates, as we have been in the audit profession for three years and eight months. I guess if we calculate the working days as suggested by HKICPA, i.e. 7 hours per day, we’ve worked for over 5 years here.

Although I didn’t send out a formal "goodbye and thank you" email on my last day, I do want to conclude that my past 3 years and 8 months are a very important learning and growing period to me. The exposures in audit have made my life more rich and challenging. To be honest, the other side of the coin is:  I’ve spent my most golden period of my life in audit (I guess it should be the golden time to most of gals) and have scarified many many valuable things (e.g. family, love, friends, health, hobbies,) over the past three years.   I guess no one can be fair enough to measure whether it’s worthy to do so or not. Well, let’s not to do the comparison, just keep the happy memories, remember what we’ve learnt and open a new page of life.

Ha ha….. not bad huh…..

5 AD3 gals went to have Buffet with make-up class this Saturday. The variety of food is not bad and the environment is very comfortable and relaxing .  The make-up class is fun as well, especially the testing for matching up your skin tone with the foundation colors.

Each of us left with a good look and a very full stomach.

Went to see the a very touching film at night, "Eight Below". The eight dogs are so smart and cute. Let me introduce each of them to you: Maya, Max, Old Jack, Dewey, Trueman, Shadow, Shorty and Buck.

The birds cathcing scence is so amazing.  I cannot believe that they can think out strategies like these.

Maya is definitely the best girl!

I always believe that dogs are the best friends of human beings.  They are the most royal friends to us.  Oh, my little dog just come over to my room, let me take a pic of her…

This is my very royal friend, she is always my best girl. Lien lien has been with me for nearly ten years.

Tin Fat is one of the most important jobs I’ve ever had in my audit life for the past three years, not only because of the job exposure, the fun we had in Tinjing, the long nights we’ve spent, and most important, are the friends and mentors I’ve made during this engagement.

As I’m going to leave next week, thanks for having a long dinner with me, putting all your deadlines aside in the peak season. Enojy the weekend~~

Had a very good dinner in a private Kitchen located at Central this week…. espcially the chicken dish…….. yummy…..

And glad to know that my dear friend is having a good time in his career.

Couldn’t fall into sleep last night, though worked till 3:30 am in the office. Sometimes, it’s not good to know more, it will only bring you frustrations.

Finally have to meet him tonight, haven’t seen him for many years since CWB, I did try to make a smilling face when we were taking photos, but failed. The pics turned out look really bad.
